ACU Baseball Camps at Arizona Christian University in Phoenix, Arizona are dedicated to providing baseball camps that are instructional, informational and fun along with creating a great atmosphere to learn!

 

The coaching staff here at Arizona Christian University prides ourselves in teaching the game of baseball to players of all ages and ability levels. Campers will receive instruction from some of the top coaches in the country focusing on mechanics and drills to help each individual player improve. ACU Baseball Camps are dedicated to the development and growth of all campers who attend.

 

Our camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs. If you do not see a date that works for you at this time check back to the site as we add new sessions often.

ACU High School Winter Prospect Camp

Description

This camp is a great opportunity for prospective college baseball players to work with and be evaluated by ALL of the ACU Coaching Staff.

 

Each player will get top notch instruction from the coaching staff that lead the ACU Firestorm to a top 25 Ranking and NAIA National Tournament in 2019 finishing with 39 wins while shattering most school records.

 

The camp will include skill evaluation, simulated game, and live game play.  At last years Fall Prospect Camp, we offered 17 players a scholarship to play at ACU.

 

What to bring
Each camp participant must bring his own baseball  equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, helmet, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. No snacks or lunch will be provided, but we recommend you bring some as needed.

  

Players receive

Game situations, pro-style workout, drills, and individual instruction.  A tour of the new ACU Campus will be provided as well.

 

Camp Cost: $145.00

 

Times: Saturday 9:00am - 2:00pm

 

Equipment
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, helmet, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. We recommend all campers wear baseball pants for all prospect camps.

Athlete/Family Mental Game Training Session "How to increase potential and destroy distractions"

Most baseball experts say 90% of the game is mental.  This opportunity will give the athlete and families an exhaustive internal blueprint for greater performance clarity.

 

$50.00 per family.  (7:45am - 8:45am @ Apollo HS)

Includes: 1 hour Athlete and / or Family training session with Coach Chambers, Arizona Christian University Performance and Leadership Coach

 

$50.00 1 30 minute individual session with Coach Chambers for the athlete or family in attendance within 30 days via phone

 

VIDEO ANALYSIS

ACU is featuring Video Analysis packages this summer. Players will be evaluated personally with Video Analysis software and have the chance to have their swing, their pitching and/or their fielding mechanics broken down by a Professional Instructor. Professional Instructors will provide an evaluation of feedback, changes and recommend drills to help fix or improve your swing, your pitching and/or fielding mechanics. Upon completion of the evaluation a link to view your analysis will be e-mailed to you (with in 2 weeks) so that you may view your video on-line.

High Desert Little League and ABC have teamed up for a pro baseball clinic in Anthem. Learn from top professional coaches, college coaches and players from Anthem and around Phoenix metro.

 

$10.00 of each camp registration will be donated back to the league.

 
Teaching the fundamentals as well as the advanced skills of baseball to various age levels, helping each participant to better understand the game both mentally and physically. Joining us will also allow players to further develop individual skills through instruction, individual and multi-player drills and game experience as well as interaction with players off the field in a comfortable camp setting. Players will work hard but have fun at the same time.
 
What Will I Learn?
As a player, you will be evaluated by a professional eye and receive hands-on, intense baseball training, high energy, and great flow station training. Our goal as a staff is to provide you with the tools to better your game, increase your knowledge, skill and confidence and assist in getting you to the next level of play and beyond. Come and support your local community, get better and have fun doing it, meet current college and pro players.

Refund Policy

Cancellation Protection: We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible.

Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our national locations.

ACU Baseball is proud to host an opportunity for graduated high school seniors (Class of 2019) and any Junior College players searching for a 4 year University to continue their college baseball careers.  During these 2 days of camp, we will have coaches and recruiters from Arizona Christian University, Park University, Ottawa University, Grand Canyon University and many Junior Colleges in Arizona.  This is a great opportunity to shine your skills on the field and receive an invitation and/or scholarship to play college baseball.

Description

Our prospect camp is designed for players to showcase their abilities while receiving quality instruction from ACU coaches and players.  Over the course of camp players will participate in defensive drills, a pro style evaluation, batting practice and games. This will give campers a chance to work on their game in a practice setting while getting ready to perform in the games on Firestorm Field.
