Our "Jr. Counselor" Program was established to provide leadership opportunities for post-graduate Jr. Dawg campers who have an interest in peer mentoring and character development. One of the key responsibilities of our Jr. Counselors is to work closely with out senior staff to reinforce the values, behaviors, and protocols established throughout camp. To be eligible, prospective counselors must be entering the 7th or 8th grade in the Fall of 2018. All Jr. Counselors will receive staff t-shirt, staff shorts and hat.
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way we communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you signed up for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication.
Directions to Husky Ball Park
The camp will be headquartered at Husky Ball Park, on the campus of the University of Washington. Campers will use the Washington main ball field, surrounding rec. turf fields, bullpens, covered hitting facility, and team meeting room.
Directions to Husky Ball park from I-5: Take the NE 45th Street exit (exit #169) from I-5 and continue east on NE 45th Street approximately 1.4 miles to Mary Gates Memorial Drive. Turn right onto Mary Gates Memorial Drive. Go one block and turn right onto Clark Road. At the end of Clark Road you will find the entrance to the E1 lot. Husky Ball park will be on your right.
Directions to Husky Ball park from Highway 520: Take the Montlake Boulevard exit. Continue north on Montlake Boulevard, crossing the drawbridge. You will pass Husky Stadium and Hec Edmundson Pavilion on your right. When the road forks, bear right to stay on Montlake Boulevard. Turn right at Mary Gates Memorial Drive. Go one block and turn right onto Clark Road. At the end of Clark Road you will find the entrance to the E-1 lot. Husky Ball park will be on your right
Parking is available in the E-1, and E-5, parking lots surrounding Husky Ball Park. All camp participants will receive a temporary parking pass that allows for pick up/drop off of campers. Parking for the entire day will require a pass that can be purchased in the E-1 and E-5 lots. Lunch is included in your registration.

* Capri sun, or box juice drink
This is not an "overnight" camp. Players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own accommodations.
Airport Pick-up / Drop-off Information
All Counselors are responsible for their own transportation to/from camp each day for this commuter camp.
A camp store with WBS baseball merchandise will be available at Husky Ball Park each camp day
What if I have to cancel a camp? We do not offer refunds on cancelled campers, just a future camp credit if you decide to cancel, but we do have what is called "Cancellation Protection". We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If the refund is requested within 7 days of the camp the player will be refunded in full with credit toward a future camp. Scheduling conflicts are not cause for refund:
Washington Baseball School is sponsored and run by Head Coach Lindsay Meggs, and it may be held at the University of Washington and use some of the University's facilities. However, Washington Baseball School is not sponsored or run by the University, and the Coach and Coach's assistant's are not employees are agents of the University in their operating the camp
