The Washington Baseball School

The Washington Baseball School provides some of the finest youth and high school baseball camps in the country. Whether you are a young beginner just learning the game, a middle school player ready to take your game up a notch, or a high school player with aspirations of playing at the next level, Washington baseball school has a camp to suit your needs. Coach Meggs, head coach at the University of Washington and his staff are present for all camps and take great pride in the quality of instruction, providing a 1 to 8 coach to camper ratio. All camps and clinics are high energy with great attention to detail and safety. This is a baseball opportunity that we feel confident will exceed your expectations. Description

The Jr. Dawgs hitting classes are designed to introduce the basic fundamentals of hitting. The classes are structured with a brief lecture detailing the task of the day followed by multiple drills that will reinforce the fundamental movements of the baseball swing. Each class is limited to 25 Players, the classes will be taught by the Husky baseball staff and players. Each session will be on Tuesday or Thursday pending on which Class the camper enrolls in (total of 5 sessions).

Facilities: Our 9,000 square foot state of the art indoor hitting facility

Jr. Dawgs Hitting Class A Tuesdays October: 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30th / 6:00 pm 7:00 pm

 

Ages: 8-13 years old ( Limited to 25 players per class)

 

Open to all entrants within the age group

 

Cost: $250.00

 

Equipment: Players will need to bring their own bat and batting helmet. You should dress comfortably with running or turf shoes (no cleats). Please make sure that all equipment is properly marked with name. We are not responsible for any lost belongings.

We offer basic Cancellation Protection to allow participants some peace of mind in case plans change. This allows us to keep our prices low and provide the best service possible. Due at the time of registration, Cancellation Protection entitles you to a full refund of camp fees should you cancel your registration more than 14 days prior to the start of an overnight camp, and 7 days prior to the start of a day camp. If you cancel within 14 or 7 days of the start of your session, we will give you a camp credit for all money paid. The credit is valid for three years from camp date at any of our camps. Credit with insurance is transferable to family members or friends, and good toward a future camp.

Description

The Jr. Dawgs advance games camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of playing the game of baseball. The classes will be structured with a half hour of instruction (base running, offensive strategies, team defense, and game situations) that will assist in learning how to play the game of baseball. There will be an hour for a combination of controlled games and regular games to reinforce instruction. Three little league size infields will be devised to accommodate six teams of ten players divided by age groups.

 

Location: Husky Ballpark Walla Walla Rd, Seattle WA. 98195

 

Facilities: Husky Ball Park

 

Dates and Times: Wednesdays October: 3, 10, 17, and 24 (4 Sessions)/ 6:00pm 7:30pm

 

Ages: third - sixth grade in school (Limited to 60 players)

 

Cost: $300.00

 

Equipment: Campers will need to bring their own bat, batting helmet, and glove (and any other necessary equipment).   You should dress comfortably in baseball pants, running or turf shoes (no cleats). This camp is designed to enhance skill development and content in all aspects of the catching position. Drills will have an emphasis in blocking, receiving, and throwing to all bases. Discussion will also be devised to inform players in catcher responsibilities and pitcher catcher relationship.
