USA Baseball NTIS: Southern California

Area Includes:Southern California (San Luis Obispo, Bakersfield and all points south) and Hawaii

USA Baseball is proud to present the Southern California region of the National Team Identification Series (NTIS). Players from across your region will participate in selection events and tryouts with the aim of being named to the Southern California’s 11U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U and 17U teams. The six regional teams will then compete in their respective age groups against 15 other regions from across the country in the culminating NTIS event at the USA Baseball National Training Complex and adjoining Thomas Brooks Park in Cary, N.C. in the fall of 2017. From the final NTIS event, USA Baseball will invite a minimum of 62 players to future National Team Trials, National Team Development Program, and Tournament of Stars opportunities with the ultimate goal of being selected to represent our country as part of Team USA in 2018.

“The NTIS program gives players from across the country the opportunity to wear USA across their chest. It is an outstanding achievement for the athletes to be able to represent their region, and an honor to have a chance to be selected for next year’s National Team Programming.”

– Paul Seiler, USA Baseball Executive Director/CEO
